A basic tutorial

Beware - lots of large images!

Here is a general idea of how a Photoshop workspace looks.

If you don't have the boxes on the right, go to the "Window" drop menu and check it as follows:

Some of the tools I'll be showing here, with a quick introduction.
I haven't put all the tools here, just some of the ones I use most often.
Hover your mouse over the image for the name of the tool.

Move tool
Magic Wand
Crop

You'llsee a small triangle in the corner of the tools that have "hidden" tools
underneath them, like the following ones:

Lasso tool
Healing Brush
Clone Stamp
Blur
Dodge
Square marquee

This is what comes up if you click and hold one of the tools:

Obviously, there are more tools than what I've shown, but this'll give you an idea.
